Money sucks

I need to rant.

So I have decided that being a middle-class white girl kind of sucks.  It makes it very difficult to get anywhere that requires money.  If my parents didn't make quite as much as they did, I would probably be able to get a grant, and if my parents made more money than they do now, I wouldn't have to worry about money so much.  My family is by no means wealthy, and is also not wanting, but sometimes I think that it would be easier if my dad had a job that maybe didn't pay as well as it does.  I realized that the middle-class kind of gets screwed over, because there are all these programs for low-income, minorities, like grants, I just saw a news report that is giving free swimming lessons to minority kids, etc.  Well, what about the rest of us that can't afford things like that, but just because the low-income people can't afford food, they get swimming lessons too?  For some reason that doesn't seem fair to me.  Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be poor, but I just think that middle class kids should be given the same privileges as the rich kids or the kids with government assistance.
